A Project Open House was held on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
at the George W. Gibbs Jr. Elementary School. The
Recommended Alternative Design layout for the NRTS project was available for public viewing and comment. Over 200 people attended the public meeting.

A Project Open House Meeting was held Thursday, November 19th. Two sessions were held at the Community Presbyterian Church, each with a short presentation. The same information
was presented at both sessions. The purpose of these meetings was to gain public input/feedback on the study issues and needs identified to date as well as the alternatives developed to address these needs.
